Walk us through a typical day for you at RMS!
What makes RMS amazing is the dynamic nature of each day. One moment, you're on calls with retail partners; the next, you're deep in product development meetings, monitoring orders, and collaborating with the team to solve challenges. Every day brings something new, keeping things exciting and rewarding.
How do you stay ahead of shifting consumer trends and buying behaviors in the toy industry?
Staying in tune with the market is essential. This means constantly exploring retail stores, researching online, and tracking social media trends. Equally important is analyzing sales data to forecast future buying behaviors, ensuring we stay ahead of consumer demands.
What is your favorite part about working with RMS clients?
Relationships! Building genuine connections with buyers is my favorite part. There’s nothing more exciting than seeing their enthusiasm for new products and innovations in kick off meetings.
If you could have any RMS toy/character as your personal assistant, who would it be and why?
That’s a tough one! But I’d probably turn one of our plush monkeys into my personal assistant. Monkeys are intelligent, great at building relationships, and would be lightning-fast around the office—plus, they’d bring a fun, cheeky vibe to the team. And of course, they’d always have a banana ready when hungry!
