Licensing Brand Manager Assistant

Reporting to Brand managers and Head of licensing

  • Item card & line list creation per brand in detail
  • Submitting artwork for approval direct to brand or through portals/3rd party
  • Product development and planning lines per license, per season
  • Market research & knowing what licenses are hot/proposing new licenses 
  • Knowing the ins and outs of the brands they’re responsible for. Which includes knowing the characters, knowing what’s upcoming, familiarizing yourself with any related media
  • Getting guide pricing on new items
  • Working with SH/HK on product from start to finish. Giving direction to factories where needed
  • Creating power point presentations per brand, per season, per customer 
  • Getting mockups/samples and setting up their respective areas in the showroom for customer meetings
  • Sending out PPs and PDs to licensors for approval
  • Gathering customer insight on current products, what worked and what didn’t
  • Working with sales team on customer requests
  • Providing content for mockups
  • Working with designers on any licensor change requests and providing them information on when an item is approved
  • Updating tracking documents per item. Must know status of items at any given time & push things along if they are getting late
  • Testing product/buying product when it hits stores to make sure it is up to our quality and checking how it looks/if it comes with the correct components
  • Creating proposal documents as necessary for new licenses and license renewals
  • Submitting forecasts/royalty reports as needed and making sure finance is alerted on any payments that need to be made. Work with sales director for all forecasting.
