As the HR Manager at RMS International, you will oversee various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws while fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement:
- Respond to inquiries and coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes, including background checks.
- Collaborate with management to understand business needs and foster a positive culture through social events and team-building activities.
- Oversee the Awardco recognition program and coordinate the Employee of the Month initiative.
- Design and deliver training programs, track participation, and enhance employee skills.
Employee Relations:
- Develop and maintain HR policies promoting a positive work environment, while addressing concerns and ensuring compliance with laws.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
Recruiting:
- Lead recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and hiring, while partnering with managers to develop effective strategies.
- Create job descriptions and utilize sourcing techniques to attract candidates, conduct screenings, and facilitate assessments.
- Enhance the employer brand and represent the company at job fairs and networking events.
Payroll and Benefits:
- Oversee payroll to ensure timely and accurate compensation, complying with all regulations.
- Design and manage employee benefits programs, support enrollment, and communicate options to employees.
- Facilitate the yearly employee review process and implement performance management systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition, benefits administration, and payroll management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing others and leading initiatives.
- Strong team-building and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Broad understanding of compensation and benefits, recruitment and retention, change management, employee relations, leadership training, organizational development, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software.
