As a Brand Manager at RMS International, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our brand strategy. You will develop and implement strategic plans to drive brand growth and performance, lead a talented team, and manage cross-functional collaborations. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Direction: Develop and drive strategic brand plans and seasonal development in line with the portfolio strategy. Create a 3+ year Brand Direction Outline and present it to leadership in collaboration with design counterparts.
- Brand & Marketing Strategy: Lead the creation of comprehensive Brand & Marketing Strategies. Collaborate with senior leads to define and deliver a cohesive line plan, including price points, margins, SKU mix, and feature sets.
- Financial Planning: Develop and present Financial Planning & Growth Strategies. Support budget management and financial planning at the brand level. Monitor financial performance, including revenue tracking, margin and profitability review, and ROS analysis.
- Product Collaboration: Partner with the Product team to ensure adherence to milestone deliverable dates and define line plan architecture. Work with design, engineering, and procurement teams to achieve margin goals and FOB (cost).
- Communication & Asset Management: Oversee the development of communication touchpoints and assets, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and focusing on consumer benefits and features.
- Presentation & Analysis: Deliver seasonal concept and model review decks and sales summit presentation decks. Lead post-season launch analysis and evaluate performance against competitors to inform future planning and drive category growth.
- Market Insights: Assist in developing and executing brand and marketing strategies by identifying market gaps and understanding competitive activity across all markets. Curate a line plan driven by consumer, market, and retailer insights, and capitalize on specific needs and white space opportunities.
- Packaging & Design: Collaborate on packaging strategy, including copy, graphics, content, and hierarchy of callouts. Create packaging briefs to guide the packaging team on desired design. Collaborate on design briefs to initiate marketing, fashion, video, photography, or other creative functions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Host cross-functional meetings to align on strategy, present new product opportunities, product updates, and merchandising plans by retailer, brand, and launch quarter. Lead cross-functional product development teams to successfully commercialize products and meet financial goals.
- Sales & Support: Support Sales in preparing pitch decks, product overviews, and sell sheets. Participate in sales calls, trade shows, and showroom support.
- Research & Insights: Lead market and competitive research analysis, initiate requests for research, and collaborate on research plans and execution of insights. Perform analysis for SKU rationalization and productivity at the item level and make recommendations on go-forward plans.
- Product Revisions: Seek cost reduction opportunities to increase margin; work with engineering, design, and supply chain to implement changes.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports, ensuring their growth and alignment with category objectives. Oversee performance, set clear goals, provide coaching, and deliver constructive feedback.

- General knowledge of manufacturing materials, product development processes, and costs.
- Familiarity with the online and brick-and-mortar retail landscape is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in Category Line and Business Management is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
